Hey, I'm Kristin.
Eight years ago I quit my job in finance and booked a one-way ticket to Bangkok for a solo journey around the world.
I started a blog, Be My Travel Muse, to share my experiences, and somewhere along the way it turned into a platform to empower other women to take chances, to live out their wildest dreams, and to be fearless in traversing the world alone. To know that they are powerful and capable. Millions of women read it each year, and it's been featured in Buzzfeed, Forbes, and the Washington Post, to name a few.
Wanderbabe Clothing is the physical manifestation of that same mission - to empower women.
As a little girl I used to draw, paint, and dream all day long. The clothes we've created are a nod to the little girl who loved rainbows, unicorns, and refused to wear anything but comfy clothes.
I put passion and love into all of my designs, work with facilities that are local and provide local jobs, work off of renewable energy, and are WRAP certified.
The fashion industry never made me feel all that great about myself, and I wanted to create something that does the opposite for those who wear it.
We are a budding brand that is owned, operated, run, and thought up entirely by women, and our goal is to empower more women around the world through donating a proceeds of what we make to organizations that support female entrepreneurs, provide scholarship funds, and help survivors of sexual assault.
I hope you love what we've created, feel free to vote on our new designs on Instagram, and feel good wearing Wanderbabe Clothing, because every woman deserves that.
